Sterling Holiday Resorts, a subsidiary of Thomas Cook (India), has announced the opening of Sterling Nirmaya Dharamshala on January 27, 2026. This new resort marks Sterling’s sixth property in Himachal Pradesh, offering a Himalayan retreat experience with views of the Dhauladhar ranges. The resort aims to blend mountain living with social experiences, targeting family getaways and group gatherings.

Sterling Holiday Resorts announced the opening of Sterling Nirmaya Dharamshala on January 27, 2026. The property is Sterling’s sixth resort in Himachal Pradesh. The resort boasts views of the Dhauladhar ranges, aiming to blend mountain living with a social atmosphere for getaways and gatherings.

Resort Features and Amenities

The Sterling Nirmaya Dharamshala includes rooms and suites with private sit-outs to enjoy mountain views. It also features a rooftop infinity pool. Culinary options include Mezban, an all-day dining restaurant, and Ignis, a rooftop bar. The resort also provides an event space named Summit.

Strategic Expansion in Himachal Pradesh

Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO of Sterling Holiday Resorts, stated that this new resort strategically enhances Sterling’s presence in Himachal Pradesh, allowing for multi-destination travel experiences within the state. The resort is near McLeod Ganj, giving access to monasteries, markets and outdoor activities.
