Gravita India Reports Strong Q3 Results with 32% PAT Growth

Gravita India announced consistent performance in Q3 and nine months FY26, with revenue growth of 9%, EBITDA up by 15%, and a remarkable 32% increase in PAT. The company is expanding capacity to over 7 lakh metric tonnes per annum by FY28, venturing into lithium-ion battery, paper, and steel recycling. Capacity expansions in Mundra and Jaipur are targeted for completion by Q4 FY26.

Financial Performance Highlights

Gravita India has demonstrated steady financial progress across its key business verticals in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026. Key highlights include:

  • Revenue growth of 9% year-on-year for the nine-month period.
  • EBITDA surged by 15% during the same period.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT) increased significantly by 32%.

Adjusted EBITDA for Q3 stood at Rs. 116 crores, reflecting a 13% year-on-year increase, with margins remaining strong at 11.41%, resulting in PAT of Rs. 97.67 crores.

Expansion and Strategic Initiatives

Gravita is actively pursuing capacity expansion, targeting over 7 lakh metric tonnes per annum by FY28. This expansion is supported by a total CAPEX of Rs. 1,225 crores through FY28, with Rs. 850 crores allocated to strengthen existing businesses and the remainder for new recycling verticals, including lithium-ion batteries, paper, and steel.

Operational Developments

Key operational updates from the announcement include:

  • Lead capacity expansion of 80,000 metric tonnes per annum at Mundra, targeted for completion by Q4 FY26.
  • Lead capacity expansion of 45,000 metric tonnes per annum at Jaipur, also expected by Q4 FY26.
  • Commissioning of the Mundra rubber project is slated for Q1 FY27.

Additionally, Gravita Netherlands BV has increased its stake in Gravita Europe S.R.L to 95%, strengthening its presence in the European market.

Segment Performance

The lead segment experienced steady growth. The plastic segment demonstrated a strong rebound, with volumes increasing by 55% quarter-on-quarter. Aluminum volumes experienced a decline due to higher metal prices in the market.
