NLC India has successfully commissioned the third and final phase of its 300 MW Solar Power Project. This final phase adds 141.17 MW to the project’s capacity, which is located in Barsingsar, Rajasthan. With this completion, NLC India’s total installed renewable energy capacity has risen to 1,766 MW. The commissioning was effective from January 24, 2026.
Solar Project Completion
NLC India announces the successful commissioning of the complete 300 MW Solar Power Project located in Barsingsar, Bikaner, Rajasthan. This project was completed in three phases.
Phase Details and Capacity
The final phase, with a capacity of 141.17 MW, has now been successfully commissioned. The first and second phases, with capacities of 52.83 MW and 106 MW respectively, were previously declared commercially operational on August 26, 2025, and November 2, 2025.
Renewable Energy Milestone
The commissioning of this project increases NLC India’s total installed renewable energy capacity to 1,766 MW. The Part Commissioning Certificate has been received from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited on January 24, 2026. Effective commissioning date is January 24, 2026.
