PIDF Scheme Clarification

One 97 Communications Limited has issued a clarification regarding its participation in the Payment Infrastructure Development Fund (PIDF) Scheme.

Details of the Scheme

The company clarified that it has recognized incentives under the PIDF Scheme, aligning with guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This initiative supported qualifying expenditures related to the deployment of payment acceptance devices, including Soundboxes and EDC Machines.

The incentive was specifically targeted towards locations categorized as Tier-3 to Tier-6 centers, encompassing various regions across India, including the northeastern states and the Union Territory of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. The scheme is valid until December 31, 2025.

Incentive Amount and Future Outlook

The total incentive received amounted to INR 128 Crores (Indian Rupees One Hundred Twenty Eight Crores only) for the six-month period ending September 30, 2025.

Currently, there have been no announcements regarding the extension or replacement of this scheme by the RBI or other authorities. If the scheme is not extended or replaced, the company anticipates offsetting the potential impact through a combination of increased revenues and strategically targeted sales initiatives.
