Sarkar’s Background and Expertise
Sanjay Sarkar previously held the position of Assistant Vice President, Supply Change Management, within V-Mart Retail. He brings to his new role more than 20 years of experience in building high-performing supply chains. Sarkar’s expertise lies in warehouse operations, logistics transformation, and operational excellence. He also has experience in technologies that support scalability, efficiency, and cost leadership.
Previous Roles and Achievements
Sanjay’s career includes roles at leading organizations across FMCG and retail sectors. He worked at Colgate, Future Group, Landmark, and V-Mart Retail. He has successfully led large multi-channel distribution center projects, greenfield projects, and WMS/TMS automation initiatives. He is a Mechanical Engineer from Amravati University and has advanced training in Strategic Operations and Supply Chain Analytics from IIM Lucknow.
