Cyient Board Approves Unaudited Results, Leadership Changes & Branch Closures

Cyient’s Board of Directors approved unaudited financial results, a leadership reshuffle, and branch closures. Matangi Gowrishankar resigned as an Independent Director. Leadership and Nomination Committee was reconstituted. The company will also close its Norway branch and Cyient Israel India Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary. Results show a net profit of ₹972 million.

Leadership Restructuring

The Board has accepted the resignation of Ms. Matangi Gowrishankar as Independent Director. Consequently, the Leadership, Nomination and Remuneration Committee has been reconstituted with the following members:

  • Madan Mohan Pillutla: Chairperson
  • MM Murugappan: Member
  • Nitin Prasad: Member
  • Debjani Ghosh: Member

Branch Closures Approved

The Board has approved the closure of the Norway branch and also Cyient Israel India Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. These closures are part of a strategy to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Financial Performance (Q3 2026)

The unaudited consolidated financial results show a revenue from contracts with customers reaching ₹18,485 million for Q3 2026. The net profit for the period attributable to shareholders of the company stands at ₹918 million. Basic EPS stands at ₹8.32.

Nine-Month Financial Highlights

For the nine months ending December 31, 2025, Cyient reported a consolidated revenue of ₹53,413 million from contracts with customers and a net profit of ₹3,731 million attributable to shareholders of the company. The basic earnings per share for the nine-month period is reported as ₹33.82. Capital expenditure during this timeframe consisted primarily of investments for the growth and maintenance of infrastructure, with a focus on increasing the company’s ability to support new projects.

Segment Performance

The Digital, Engineering & Technology (DET) segment posted revenue of ₹14,883 million, contributing significantly to the overall revenue. The Design Led Manufacturing (DLM) segment followed with revenues of ₹3,033 million.

The semiconductor segment revenue reached ₹611 million during the period.
