Dalmia Bharat Limited announced the successful commencement of commercial production at its new 3.6 MTPA Clinkerisation unit located in Umrangso, Assam, effective January 20, 2026. This expansion increases the Group’s total clinker manufacturing capacity to 27.1 MTPA. The total cement grinding capacity of the Group now stands at 49.5 MTPA.
New Production Unit Online
Dalmia Bharat Limited has successfully launched the commercial operations of a new clinkerisation unit. The facility, located in Umrangso, Distt. Dima Hasao, Assam, began production on January 20, 2026.
Capacity Boost
The new Clinkerisation unit adds 3.6 MTPA (Million Tonnes Per Annum) to Dalmia Bharat’s manufacturing capabilities. With this addition, the Group’s total clinker manufacturing capacity has increased to 27.1 MTPA.
Cement Grinding Capacity
Alongside the clinker production, Dalmia Bharat reports that its total cement grinding capacity currently stands at 49.5 MTPA. This figure reflects the company’s overall cement production potential.
