Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced the commencement of exports for its premium SUV, VICTORIS, which will be sold globally under the name ‘Across’. The initial shipment, consisting of over 450 vehicles, departed from Mundra and Pipavav ports on January 16, 2026.
Global Reach and Key Features
The VICTORIS is planned to be exported to over 100 countries and regions, with key export markets including Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. Marketed under the ‘Across’ name internationally, the SUV combines modern design with advanced technology and safety features. It has earned a 5-star safety rating in both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP.

According to Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, exports have grown by 4.67 times in the past five years. The addition of VICTORIS is expected to further boost export ambitions.
VICTORIS Recognition
The VICTORIS model was introduced in India in September 2025 and has since gained popularity. It was also awarded the Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) 2026 award.
