NTPC Green Energy Limited announces the commencement of commercial operation for a 37.5 MW solar project located in Bhuj, Gujarat. This project, part of a larger 150 MW initiative, is developed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd. With this addition, the total installed capacity of NGEL Group will increase to 8347.78 MW.
Solar Project Operational
NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has announced that the third part capacity of 37.5 MW Solar project located in Bhuj, Gujarat, is now operational, effective January 17, 2026.
Project Details
The project is part of the total installed capacity of 150 MW Solar Project, developed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd. This project is a joint venture of ONGC NTPC Green Private.
Capacity Update
The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group stands at 8310.28 MW. With the addition of this 37.5 MW capacity, the total installed capacity of the NGEL Group will increase to 8347.78 MW.
