Tax Dispute Update

Craftsman Automation has received an order dated December 30, 2025, from the Commissioner (Appeals), Gurugram, which was received by the company on January 14, 2026. This order upholds a tax demand of ₹962.89 lakhs and imposes a penalty of an equal amount – ₹962.89 lakhs.

Details of the Issue

The issue stems from a disagreement over the valuation of consideration for specific services and related processes conducted by the company from 2017-18 to 2023-24.

Company’s Response

Craftsman Automation maintains that it has consistently complied with all applicable GST requirements. The company is actively preparing an appeal against the recent order. The company does not anticipate any material impact on its financials, operations, or other activities as a result of this order.
