The appointment follows the resignation of Bhushan Sawhney (Executive President and Chief Business Officer – B2B), which took place on February 3, 2025, with his cessation effective from May 2, 2025. The Board, acting on the advice of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, approved the appointment to maintain strong leadership within the B2B segment.
Executive Profile
Mr. Amin, aged 58, holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Power Systems and a Master’s in Marketing Management. His professional background includes leadership roles at notable organizations such as Apar Industries Limited, BICC Bahrain, and Nicco Corporation Limited. Before this appointment, he was associated with Polycab India Limited from July 2011 to March 2022, serving as President and SBU Head Cables.

With over 37 years of experience, Mr. Amin brings expertise in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, and P&L Management within the cable industry. This experience is expected to drive Polycab’s B2B channel growth and corporate communications strategies.
