Ashok Leyland Reports Sales Figures for December 2025

Ashok Leyland announced its sales figures for December 2025. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks increased by 27% compared to December 2024. Total domestic M&HCV sales saw a 29% increase. LCV domestic sales rose by 21% year-over-year. Overall, total domestic vehicle sales increased by 26%.

Domestic Sales Performance

In December 2025, Ashok Leyland’s domestic sales demonstrated strong growth across various vehicle categories.

  • M&HCV Trucks: Sales reached 11,387 units, a 27% increase from 8,979 units in December 2024. Cumulative sales reached 69,676 units, an 8% increase year-over-year.
  • M&HCV Bus: Sales totaled 2,166 units, a significant 44% increase from 1,509 units in December 2024. Cumulative sales were 16,022 units, representing a 12% growth.
  • Total M&HCV: Combined sales of trucks and buses amounted to 13,553 units, a 29% increase compared to 10,488 units in the previous year. Cumulative sales reached 85,698 units, a 9% increase.
  • LCV: Sales reached 6,302 units, showing a 21% increase from 5,225 units in December 2024. Cumulative sales increased to 52,521 units, an 11% rise.
  • Total Vehicles: The company sold 19,855 vehicles, marking a 26% increase from 15,713 units in December 2024. Cumulative sales were 1,38,219 units, showing a 10% increase.

Domestic and Export Performance

Including exports, Ashok Leyland’s sales figures were as follows:

  • M&HCV Trucks: Sales reached 11,596 units, a 26% increase from 9,238 units in December 2024. Cumulative sales reached 71,800 units, an 8% increase year-over-year.
  • M&HCV Bus: Sales totaled 3,234 units, a significant 45% increase from 2,236 units in December 2024. Cumulative sales were 24,365 units, representing a 25% growth.
  • Total M&HCV: Combined sales of trucks and buses amounted to 14,830 units, a 29% increase compared to 11,474 units in the previous year. Cumulative sales reached 96,165 units, a 12% increase.
  • LCV: Sales reached 6,703 units, showing a 22% increase from 5,483 units in December 2024. Cumulative sales increased to 54,814 units, a 10% rise.
  • Total Vehicles: The company sold 21,533 vehicles, marking a 27% increase from 16,957 units in December 2024. Cumulative sales were 1,50,979 units, showing an 11% increase.
