The company intends to appeal before the Commissioner (Appeals).

GST Demand Details

Jubilant Generics Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jubilant Pharmova, has received a demand order issued on December 26, 2025. This order addresses an alleged erroneously sanctioned provisional refund amount. The Assistant Commissioner Central GST Division, Roorkee, issued a Refund cum rejection Order confirming the demand/recovery.

The total demand amounts to ₹1,72,50,923, which includes a GST demand of ₹1,56,82,657 and a penalty of ₹15,68,266. According to the company, the demand is seen as legally incorrect and will be contested.

Company Response

Jubilant Pharmova is preparing to file an appeal before the Commissioner (Appeals) to challenge the demand order. The company asserts that it has a strong case on merits and plans to submit documentary evidence to support its appeal. According to Jubilant Pharmova, there will be no material impact on financials, operations, or other activities of the company.
