REC Limited Subsidiary Incorporates Apta Power Transmission

REC Limited announces the incorporation of Apta Power Transmission Limited as a wholly-owned subsidiary. The new entity has an authorized and paid-up capital of ₹5,00,000. Apta Power will handle the establishment of a 765/400/220kV AIS substation in Apta, Raigad, after REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) was appointed to manage the bidding process. REC Limited has announced the establishment of a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Apta Power Transmission Limited. This incorporation aims to further REC’s involvement in power transmission projects.

Capital and Structure

Apta Power Transmission Limited has an authorized capital of ₹5,00,000 and a paid-up capital of the same amount (₹5,00,000). As a wholly-owned subsidiary, it falls directly under REC Limited’s umbrella.

Project Involvement

The Government of Maharashtra allocated an intra-state transmission project where REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) will act as the Bid Process Coordinator (BPC). Apta Power will be responsible for establishing a 765/400/220kV AIS substation in Apta, Raigad.

Incorporation Date

Apta Power Transmission Limited was officially incorporated on December 24, 2025. The company will be transferred to the successful bidder after the bidding process, along with all related assets and liabilities.
