Gujarat Gas Managing Director Resigns Following Government Appointment

Gujarat Gas has announced the resignation of Managing Director, Shri Milind Torawane, IAS, effective December 24, 2025. This follows his transfer and appointment as Principal Secretary to the Government’s Education Department (Primary & Secondary Education). A copy of Shri Torawane’s resignation letter has been enclosed.

Managing Director Departure

Shri Milind Torawane, IAS (DIN: 03632394), has stepped down from his role as Managing Director at Gujarat Gas. The effective date of his resignation is December 24, 2025.

New Government Role

Shri Torawane’s resignation is a consequence of his new appointment. He will now serve as Principal Secretary within the Government’s Education Department, specifically focusing on Primary and Secondary Education. This transfer was formalized through GAD Notification no. AIS/35.025/56/G, dated December 23, 2025.
