The order, dated December 18, 2025, pertains to alleged ineligible Input Tax Credit (ITC) availed on blocked credits and ITC claimed from vendors with canceled registrations who failed to file GSTR-3B returns.
West Bengal GST Order
The Joint Commissioner, Central Goods and Services Tax, Bolpur, West Bengal, issued an order on December 18, 2025, regarding alleged excess Input Tax Credit claimed in GSTR 3B return compared to Input Tax Credit appearing in GSTR 2A. The original order dropping the tax demand of ₹2,91,97,103 along with the applicable interest and penalty of ₹2,91,97,103 was passed.
