HUDCO Approves Raising ₹1905 Crore via NCDs on Private Placement Basis

HUDCO has approved raising up to ₹1905 Crore through Unsecured, Taxable, Redeemable, Non-Convertible, Non-Cumulative NCDs (Series-E 2025) via private placement. The NCDs have a face value of ₹1,00,000 each and a coupon rate of 6.98%. The bond allotment committee approved the issue on December 12, 2025. The bonds are redeemable at par at the end of the 7th year.

NCD Issuance Approval

HUDCO’s ‘Bond Allotment Committee’ approved the issuance of Debentures amounting to ₹1905 Crore through Unsecured, Taxable, Redeemable, Non-Convertible, Non-Cumulative NCDs (Series-E 2025) on a private placement basis. This decision was made during the committee meeting held on December 12, 2025.

Key Details of the NCDs

The NCDs have a face value of ₹1,00,000 each. The issue includes a base issue size of ₹500 Crore and a green shoe option of ₹1405 Crore, totaling the issue size to ₹1905 Crore. The NCDs are unsecured and taxable.

Coupon Rate and Redemption

The coupon rate offered is 6.98%, with interest payable annually. The bonds are redeemable at par at the end of the 7th year from the date of allotment. Schedule of interest payment is as follows: Dec 12, 2026; Dec 12, 2027; Dec 12, 2028; Dec 12, 2029; Dec 12, 2030; Dec 12, 2031 and Dec 12, 2032 (including Principal). The instrument does not have special rights/privileges. There has been no delay in payment of interest/principal, and there are no comments regarding non-payment of interest.
