Project Focus and Capacity
Chhattisgarh NTPC Green Energy Limited will focus on projects including Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Parks (UMREPP) and other renewable energy initiatives, encompassing Solar, Wind, and Hybrid projects. The company aims to achieve a cumulative capacity of up to 2 GW. Additionally, it will explore the identification of reservoirs for the development of floating solar projects.
Investment and Shareholding
NGEL has subscribed to 74,000 equity shares in the subsidiary at a face value of ₹10 each, representing a 74% stake. This investment underscores NGEL’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the renewable energy sector.
