About Ashish N Chandak
Mr. Chandak is an experienced banker with nearly three decades in the BFSI sector. He has expertise across Business Development, Credit Risk Management, Advisory, Governance, Compliance, AML, and Fraud Risk Management. He has held leadership roles across multiple institutions.
Previous Role
Before joining Manappuram Finance, Mr. Chandak served as the Chief Compliance Officer at YES Bank during its post-reconstruction phase, where he played a role in strengthening the bank’s Compliance and Governance framework.
Experience and Expertise
During his career, he has evaluated and structured over 200+ transactions across Infrastructure, Real Estate, and Manufacturing sectors, facilitating financing exceeding 100 billion. He also established an internal Management Consulting unit within YES Bank to enhance Management and Governance practices. Additionally, he headed the Fraud Risk Management function at YES Bank, managing fraud prevention and detection across both Asset and Liability businesses.
Education
Mr. Chandak is a Gold Medalist in both Engineering and Management from the M.S. University of Baroda.
