Previously, she served as Deputy Managing Director (Strategy and Digital Banking) at the State Bank of India, playing a key role in the bank’s growth and strategic initiatives. Rao has also held Directorships at the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and various Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). She holds degrees in Science and Physics and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.
