Godawari Power & Ispat Public Hearing Concludes for Ari Dongri Expansion

Godawari Power & Ispat Limited announced the successful conclusion of the Public Hearing on November 13, 2025, for the expansion of Ari Dongri Iron Ore Mines. The expansion aims to increase production capacity from 2.35 MTPA to 6 MTPA. The hearing took place in Kanker, Chhattisgarh, securing environment clearance/approval for the proposed project and increasing the mining lease area.

Ari Dongri Expansion Approved

The Public Hearing for the expansion of Ari Dongri Iron Ore Mines, proposed by Godawari Power & Ispat Limited, successfully concluded on November 13, 2025.

Increased Production Capacity

The expansion project aims to increase the production capacity of the Ari Dongri Iron Ore Mines from an existing 2.35 MTPA to 6 MTPA. This expansion also includes an increase in the mining lease area from 138.96 Ha to 213.01 Ha.

Location and Purpose

The hearing was held in Kanker, Chhattisgarh, to secure the necessary environmental clearance and approvals for the proposed expansion of iron ore mining capacity. The Ari Dongri Iron Ore Mines are situated at Village Kachche, Dist: Uttar Baster, Kanker, Chhattisgarh.
