Details of the Penalty

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, UAE, has imposed a penalty of AED 284,000 (~INR 68.48 lakhs) on account of alleged non-compliances pertaining to Emiratization.

Company Response

KPIL has filed an application for waiver of the said penalty, as the branch office is in compliance with Emiratization requirements. The company does not anticipate a significant impact due to this penalty.

Reason for Delay

The delay in reporting was due to the time required for translation of the Arabic communication and official confirmation from local authorities.
