Asian Paints Q2 FY’26 Profit Jumps 43% to ₹993.6 Crores, Interim Dividend Declared

Asian Paints reported a 43% surge in consolidated net profit after minority interest to ₹993.6 crores for Q2 FY’26. Revenue from sales increased by 6.4% to ₹8,513.7 crores. The Board has declared an interim dividend of ₹4.5 per share. Domestic decorative business volume grew by 10.9%. The international business registered a growth of 9.9%.

Asian Paints announced strong financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026. Key highlights include:

  • Consolidated Net Sales: Increased by 6.4% to ₹8,513.7 crores (previous year: ₹8,003.0 crores).
  • PBDIT (before share in profit of associates): Increased by 21.3% to ₹1,503.4 crores (previous year: ₹1,239.5 crores).
  • PBDIT Margin: Stood at 17.7% compared to 15.5% in the corresponding period last year.
  • Profit before exceptional items and tax: Increased by 22.2% to ₹1,391.5 crores (previous year: ₹1,139.2 crores).
  • Net Profit after minority interest: Increased significantly by 43.0%, reaching ₹993.6 crores from ₹694.6 crores.

H1 FY’26 Results Overview

The company also reported results for the first half of the fiscal year:

  • Consolidated Net Sales: Rose by 2.9% to ₹17,438.2 crores (previous year: ₹16,946.3 crores).
  • PBDIT (before share in profit of associates): Increased by 6.7% to ₹3,128.3 crores (previous year: ₹2,933.3 crores).
  • PBDIT Margin: Achieved 17.9% against 17.3% in the prior year.
  • Profit before exceptional items and tax: Increased by 5.7% to ₹2,900.2 crores (previous year: ₹2,742.8 crores).
  • Net Profit after minority interest: Increased by 12.3% to ₹2,093.4 crores (previous year: ₹1,864.6 crores).

Interim Dividend

The Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of ₹4.50 (Rupees Four and Paise Fifty only) per equity share, with a face value of ₹1 each, for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. The record date is set for November 18, 2025.

Segment Performance
