Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has announced the procurement of multiple supply orders. These include an order to lease 8 rakes of BLSS wagons with BVCM brake vans, along with an order for 25 Loaded Reach Stackers (RSTs). These strategic acquisitions aim to boost CONCOR’s operational capabilities and enhance its service offerings in the logistics sector. The total value of these orders is approximately ₹224.67 Crores.
Wagon Leasing Agreement
CONCOR has finalized an agreement with M/s Touax Taxmaco Railcar Leasing Pvt. Ltd. for the operational leasing of 8 rakes of BLSS wagons equipped with BVCM type brake vans. This is a domestic transaction and the lease is for a period of 10 years. The total value of the order (excluding GST) is valued at ₹157.92 Crores. The deliveries are scheduled to be completed within 255 days.
Reach Stacker Procurement
A separate order has been placed with M/s TIL Ltd. for the design, manufacture, supply, and commissioning of 25 Loaded Reach Stackers (RSTs). This is also a domestic transaction. The value of this order (excluding GST) amounts to ₹66.75 Crores. The supply of the reach stackers is expected to be completed within 330 days.
Additional Wagon Supply Order
CONCOR has secured an additional order with M/s GATX India Pvt. Ltd. for the supply of 12 rakes of BLSS wagons equipped with BVCM brake vans under an operating lease for a period of 10 years. This domestic order is valued at ₹236.88 Crores (excluding GST). The supply is expected to be completed in 315 days.
