IRB Infra Completes Acquisition of 3 Highway Assets Valued at ₹8,436 Cr

IRB Infrastructure Developers has completed the acquisition of three highway assets from IRB Infrastructure Trust for ₹8,436 Crs. With this acquisition, the IRB InvIT Fund now has 9 revenue-generating highway projects. The unlocked capital enables IRB to pursue opportunities worth over ₹15,000 Crores. Marquee global and domestic investors supported the deal by infusing ₹4,250Crs in IRB InvIT Fund.

Highway Asset Acquisition Completed

IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited announced the successful completion of the acquisition of three highway assets by its Sponsored IRB InvIT Fund, from the IRB Infrastructure Trust. The enterprise value of these assets is ₹8,436Crs. The announcement was made on November 6, 2025.

  • Hapur Moradabad NH-9 (Uttar Pradesh)
  • Kaithal Rajasthan Border NH-152/65 (Haryana)
  • Kishangarh Gulabpura NH-79A (Rajasthan)

Post-Acquisition Portfolio

Following the acquisition, the IRB InvIT Fund now holds a portfolio of 9 revenue-generating highway assets, comprising 8 BOT assets and 1 HAM asset. These assets span over 4,200 operational lane kilometers, with a total enterprise value exceeding ₹16,000Crs. The weighted average concession life of these assets is approximately 17 years.
