Samvardhana Motherson International has announced the incorporation of a new subsidiary, Motherson Sanko Sustainable Packaging Products EU Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság in Hungary. This entity, formed through Motherson Global Investments B.V. (MGI B.V.) in collaboration with Sanko Co. Ltd., Japan, focuses on sustainable packaging solutions. The subsidiary has a total subscribed capital of Euro 10,000 and aligns with the group’s strategic objectives.

Subsidiary Incorporation

Samvardhana Motherson International has established a new subsidiary named Motherson Sanko Sustainable Packaging Products EU Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (“MSSPP”) in Hungary. This move is in furtherance of a joint venture agreement with Sanko Co. Ltd., Japan.

Details of the New Entity

The new subsidiary, MSSPP, will focus on packaging and manufacturing. MGI B.V. holds a 51% shareholding, while Sanko Co. Ltd. owns the remaining 49%. MSSPP’s primary activities include designing, developing, marketing, manufacturing, and distributing plastic packaging materials and molded products related to material handling solutions, encompassing pallets, crates, and containers.

Financial Details

The total subscribed capital of MSSPP is Euro 10,000. The capital was contributed in cash by both shareholders in accordance with their respective shareholding ratios. The incorporation date of the subsidiary is November 3, 2025.
