Investment in Paytm Payments Services
The board has approved an investment of up to INR 2,250 Crores in Paytm Payments Services Limited (PPSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary. This investment aims to:
- Strengthen PPSL’s net worth.
- Acquire offline merchant payment businesses.
- Fund working capital needs.
- Support leadership in the merchant payments sector.
