The company’s standalone performance for Q2 FY26 also showed mixed results:

  • Revenue from Operations: Rs. 2,458.5 crores, up by 1.1% year-over-year.
  • EBITDA (excluding other income): Rs. 311.2 crores, down by 18.8% year-over-year.
  • Net Profit: Rs. 176.3 crores, a 23.0% decrease compared to the previous year.

H1 FY26 Consolidated Results

For the half year ended September 30, 2025, Berger Paints reported the following consolidated results:

  • Revenue from Operations: Rs. 6,028.3 crores, an increase of 2.8% year-over-year.
  • EBITDA (excluding other income): Rs. 880.7 crores, a decline of 7.9% year-over-year.
  • Net Profit: Rs. 521.4 crores, a decrease of 16.4% compared to the last year.

H1 FY26 Standalone Results

The standalone results for the half year showcased the following:

  • Revenue from Operations: Rs. 5,321.1 crores, representing an increase of 1.6%.
  • EBITDA (excluding other income): Rs. 810.7 crores, reflecting a decrease of 6.5%.
  • Net Profit: Rs. 470.0 crores, indicating a decline of 12.1%.

Management Commentary

According to Abhijit Roy, Managing Director & CEO of Berger Paints India Limited, the extended monsoon season led to a muted demand scenario. Despite this, the company was able to deliver high single-digit volume growths and improve its market share. He also noted that profitability was impacted by a negative scale effect and adverse product mix. The company continues to focus on waterproofing, construction chemicals, and wood coatings segments.
