Segmental Performance
Chemicals
The Chemicals segment experienced substantial growth:
- Revenues increased by 50% YoY to ₹913 crore
- PBDIT surged by 195% to ₹254 crore, driven by increased caustic volumes and improved ECU margins.
- The company completed the acquisition of Hindusthan Specialty Chemicals Ltd. (HSCL) and commissioned a 35,000 TPA Epichlorohydrin (ECH) facility.
Sugar & Ethanol
The Sugar & Ethanol segment saw mixed results:
- Revenues declined by 6% YoY due to lower sales volumes.
- PBDIT surged by 143% to ₹33 crore due to higher ethanol margins.
Shriram Farm Solutions
The Shriram Farm Solutions segment reported strong growth:
- Revenues increased by 27% to ₹471 crore.
- PBDIT increased by 47% to ₹106 crore.
Fenesta Building Systems
The Fenesta Building Systems segment also performed well:
- Revenues rose by 28% to ₹283 crore.
- Order book up by 71% YoY.
Strategic Developments
The company announced the proposed acquisition of salt works with a capacity of 2.1 lakh MTPA, subject to regulatory approvals. Planned investment is approximately Rs. 175 crs.
Investments and Expansions
DCM Shriram has completed and is undertaking several key investments:
- Completed: 850 TPD Caustic Soda Expansion and 120 MW Power Plant at Bharuch, 52,500 TPA Hydrogen Peroxide Plant at Bharuch, 2,100 TCD Sugar Capacity Expansion at Loni Unit, 12 TPD Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) Plant at Ajbapur.
- Ongoing: Fenesta Aluminium Extrusion Plant (Kota), 68 MW Captive Renewable Energy Project (Kota), 100 TPD Aluminium Chloride and 225 TPD Calcium Chloride plants (Bharuch).
