HCLTech has launched the third edition of the HCLTech Climate Action Grant in the Americas, aimed at fostering innovation in addressing climate change. Building on the success of previous years, this edition will award a total of $1 million to three organizations driving impactful change.
Grant Focus and Reach
The grant focuses on supporting non-profit organizations working to restore biodiversity and advance sustainability across ten countries: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and the U.S. The program seeks scalable and replicable solutions to combat the climate crisis.
Impact of Previous Grants
To date, the HCLTech Climate Action Grant has awarded $2 million to six non-profits. These grants have supported initiatives empowering over 1,400 young people and educators, restoring 88 acres of longleaf pine forest with over 50,000 trees, and inspiring over 1,000 students to design sustainable communities.
Sustainability Recognition
HCLTech’s sustainability efforts have earned recognition, including a ‘Gold’ rating for advanced sustainability performance by EcoVadis. The company was also included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024 for the third year and has achieved a 98% ‘Platinum’ rating for owned buildings from the Green Building Councils.
