Financial Performance
Dixon Technologies reported strong financial results for Q2 FY26, with revenue reaching ₹14,858 crore, a 29% increase compared to the same period last year. The company’s EBITDA grew by 34% to ₹564 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) increased by 27% to ₹323 crore.
Business Segment Highlights
The mobile and EMS segment reported revenue of ₹13,361 crore, a 41% year-on-year growth, and an operating profit of ₹472 crore, up by 53%. Consumer electronics (LED TVs and refrigerators) revenue was ₹956 crore. Telecom and networking products saw substantial growth with revenues of ₹1,635 crore, a 148% increase. Laptops, tablets and IT hardware revenue grew significantly to ₹331 crore, a 481% increase.
Expansion and Investments
Dixon is expanding its manufacturing capabilities through joint ventures and investments. A 74:26 joint venture with HKC for display modules is creating a capacity of 24 million units per annum for smartphones. The company acquired a 51% stake in Q Tech India for manufacturing camera and fingerprint modules. An investment of approximately ₹3,000 crore is planned for automotive components and display modules over the next three years.
Strategic Outlook
Dixon is focusing on backward integration strategies, particularly in automotive components and display modules. The company aims to enhance its manufacturing capabilities and remain optimistic about the growth potential in the Indian electronics sector. The acquisition of Q Tech India is expected to increase smartphone camera module production to between 190 to 200 million units per annum within 2-3 years.
