Infosys Foundation USA has awarded a $250,000 grant to the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) to advance the Digital Workforce Innovation Program. This collaboration aims to build 21st-century digital skills and establish inclusive industry pathways. The program will support institutions in equipping students and adults with vital digital skills, fostering a maker mindset, and promoting entrepreneurial approaches to problem-solving.
NACCE Program Support
Infosys Foundation USA is partnering with the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) and MakerUSA to enhance digital skills. The $250,000 grant will specifically bolster the Digital Workforce Innovation Program and foster inclusive industry pathways.
Grant Recipient Institutions
Six higher education institutions, comprising community colleges, universities, and HBCUs, will receive funds to advance workforce readiness. The focus is on equipping students and adults with digital skills and entrepreneurial problem-solving approaches in a tech-driven economy. These institutions are:
- Coppin State University (MD)
- Foothill College (CA)
- GateWay Community College (AZ)
- Houston City College (TX)
- Ivy Tech Community College (IN)
- North Iowa Area Community College (IA)
Program Objectives
The Digital Workforce Innovation Program includes funding, technical assistance, one-on-one coaching, and peer learning. Participants will leverage Infosys Springboard, with access to over 11,000 interactive learning modules covering AI, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and professional skills. Also included is access to SkillPointe’s online career exploration technology.
