Optiemus Infracom has revised its revenue targets upwards, now projecting ₹8,500 crore by FY29, an increase from the earlier estimate of ₹6,000 crore. The company anticipates a 30% growth in FY29, driven by its screen protectors and EMS scale-up. The presentation also highlights a strengthened FY28 revenue target of ₹6,500 crore, indicating robust growth across its business verticals.

Optiemus Infracom Sets Ambitious Revenue Targets

Optiemus Infracom Limited has unveiled an upward revision of its revenue projections, targeting ₹8,500 crore by the fiscal year 2029 (FY29). This revised outlook represents a significant increase from the previously projected ₹6,000 crore. The company anticipates a substantial growth rate of over 30% in FY29, primarily fueled by the strategic expansion of its screen protector business and the continued scale-up of its Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) division.

Strengthened FY28 Outlook

In addition to the long-term outlook, Optiemus Infracom has also revised its revenue target for FY28 upwards to approximately ₹6,500 crore. This revised figure implies an estimated year-on-year growth of 80%, a considerable increase from the previously guided 30%. This accelerated growth is attributed to the anticipated commercial roll-out of its screen protector business and the ongoing expansion within its EMS vertical.

FY27 Revenue Maintained Amidst Strong Visibility

For the current fiscal year, FY27, the revenue target remains maintained at approximately ₹3,600 crore. This target is supported by a strong performance in the first half of the fiscal year, driven by successful execution, strong forward visibility in the smartphone segment, wins in other EMS categories, and the ramp-up of Unit 3 production.

Key Business Drivers and Strategic Initiatives

The company’s growth strategy is built upon several key pillars, including the scale-up of its EMS operations, the launch of screen protectors ready by March 2027, and a pivot towards B2C categories. The JV with CMF (Nothing) signifies a move up the value chain, aiming to transition CMF into a standalone, homegrown Indian consumer electronics brand with end-to-end R&D capabilities. Additionally, the company is expanding its B2C footprint with a new category launch expected in Q4 FY27 and has established a Cover Glass JV with Corning International, positioning itself as a significant player in the B2B segment. Drones represent a medium-term option value, with a focus on R&D-driven sticky business models.
