Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited has officially announced a significant change within its leadership team. The Board of Directors, in a meeting held on November 4, 2026, approved the retirement of Mr. G. T. Govindarajan from his positions as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer. This change is effective from the close of business on November 30, 2026. The Board acknowledged Mr. Govindarajan’s extensive tenure of approximately 37 years with the company and expressed sincere appreciation for his valuable contributions.
New Appointment to Key Roles
Following Mr. Govindarajan’s retirement, the Board has appointed Ms. Rukmini Subramanian as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer. This appointment, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, will take effect from December 1, 2026. Ms. Subramanian is a seasoned legal and secretarial professional with over two decades of experience across various listed companies. She holds an Associate Membership in the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and degrees in Law and Commerce from Mumbai University. She has been associated with Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited in the legal and secretarial function since 2021 and brings with her a wealth of experience from prior roles at reputed organizations.
Updated Key Managerial Personnel (KMP)
With these changes, the Key Managerial Personnel of Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, effective from December 1, 2026, will comprise:
- Mr. Pravin D. Chaudhari (Managing Director)
- Mr. Yash Ahuja (Chief Financial Officer)
- Ms. Rukmini Subramanian (Company Secretary)
Ms. Rukmini Subramanian will also assume the role of Nodal Officer, replacing Mr. G.T. Govindarajan, effective from December 1, 2026.
