Sale of Jag Pooja

The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (G E Shipping) announced the sale of its 2005-built Medium Range Product Tanker, Jag Pooja, with a capacity of approximately 48,539 dwt. The transaction was contracted on October 17, 2025.

Details of the Transaction

The Jag Pooja has been sold to an unaffiliated third party. Delivery of the vessel to the new buyer is anticipated in Q3 FY26.

Fleet Composition

Following the sale of Jag Pooja, the company’s operational fleet consists of 40 vessels, which includes 26 tankers (5 crude tankers, 17 product tankers, and 4 LPG carriers) and 14 dry bulk carriers (2 Capesize, 10 Kamsarmax, and 2 Supramax), with an aggregate of 3.21 mn dwt.

Additional Transactions

In Q2 FY26, the company also entered into agreements to buy and sell one secondhand Suezmax crude tanker each. These transactions are projected to finalize by Q3 FY26.
