Welcure Drugs resubmits audited financial results with corrections

Welcure Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited has announced the resubmission of its audited standalone financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026. This follows an earlier intimation on May 29, 2026, where certain inadvertent errors were identified and subsequently corrected. The updated financial statements, approved by the Board of Directors on October 31, 2026, supersede the prior submission.

Welcure Drugs Reissues Financial Results Following Corrections

Welcure Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited has officially re-submitted its audited standalone financial results for the fiscal year and quarter ending March 31, 2026. This action comes after the company identified and corrected inadvertent errors in the initial submission made on May 29, 2026.

Board Approval and Superseding Previous Filings

The revised financial statements and accompanying documents were approved by the Board of Directors during a meeting held on October 31, 2026. These newly approved results now supersede the previously filed statements from May 2026. The meeting, which commenced at 4:00 PM and concluded at 5:00 PM, affirmed the corrected financial position of the company.

Auditor’s Unmodified Opinion

In a separate declaration, Welcure Drugs confirmed that Sarang Shivajirao Chavan and Associates, the company’s statutory auditors, have issued an unmodified opinion on the audited standalone financial results for the year ended March 31, 2026. This indicates that the auditors found the financial statements to be presented fairly and in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Emphasis of Matters by Auditors

The independent auditor’s report highlighted several matters of emphasis. These include uncertainties related to the balance of trade receivables and payables, requiring management confirmation. The report also noted a lack of provided supporting documentation for the bifurcation of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) creditors, potentially impacting regulatory compliance. Additionally, advances to suppliers remained unconfirmed, and the genuineness of certain sales transactions could not be fully verified due to missing documentation like E-Way bills and delivery challans. The auditors were also unable to verify the accuracy of the assertion that goods are traded directly from vendors, as the company lacks warehousing facilities, and faced challenges in confirming the existence and valuation of inventory as of March 31, 2026.

Financial Highlights

The audited financial results for the year ended March 31, 2026, show a total revenue from operations of ₹39,098.87 lakhs. Total expenses amounted to ₹39,665.95 lakhs, resulting in a profit before tax of (₹567.08 lakhs). The total comprehensive income for the period was (₹567.08 lakhs). The balance sheet as of March 31, 2026, indicates total assets of ₹51,013.23 lakhs and total equity and liabilities of ₹51,013.23 lakhs.
