Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited has reported a significant financial uplift for the first half of the fiscal year 2027 (H1 FY27), with consolidated revenue reaching INR231 crore, marking an impressive 85% year-on-year growth. This performance highlights the company’s strong execution capabilities and the sustained demand across its business segments.
Revenue Growth and Order Book Expansion
The company’s top-line growth was further bolstered by a sequential increase in the second quarter (Q2 FY27), with revenues standing at approximately INR123 crore, a 14% sequential growth and a substantial 98% year-on-year increase. This strong performance in H1 FY27 has already achieved 96% of the entire full-year revenue for FY26, signaling a positive outlook for the remainder of the fiscal year.
A key indicator of future growth is the company’s consolidated order book, which now stands at a robust INR855 crore. This represents an increase of over 700% on a year-on-year basis, primarily driven by a mix of firm purchase orders and multi-year long-term supply agreements. This expanded order book provides unprecedented top-line visibility.
Profitability and Margins
Unimech Aerospace maintained strong profitability, with EBITDA margins at 38% for H1 FY27 and a robust 40% in Q2 FY27. The consolidated gross margin for H1 FY27 remained strong at 67%, supported by high-value orders and a favorable business mix. Profit after tax (PAT) for Q2 FY27 stood at approximately INR32 crore, a 103% year-on-year growth. H1 FY27 PAT reached INR60 crore, up 71% year-on-year. Strategic Initiatives and Business Mix
The company is actively transforming into an integrated multi-industry precision engineering platform. Strategic initiatives include the seamless integration of Hobel Bellows and the ramp-up of its precision components and assemblies business. Aero Tooling continues to be a significant contributor, accounting for approximately 67% of total H1 revenue, while the precision component assembly (PCA) business, which contributed 33%, is showing early momentum, with higher contribution expected in coming quarters.
Looking ahead, Unimech Aerospace is confident in its FY27 growth outlook, expecting H2 revenue to be higher than H1 with similar margins, driven by increased deliveries to semiconductor capital goods OEMs and execution of nuclear orders.
