Runwal Enterprises Releases Q1 FY27 Earnings Call Transcript

Runwal Enterprises Limited has published the transcript of its earnings conference call for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027, covering the period ended June 30, 2026. This maiden call post-listing provided stakeholders with insights into the company’s financial performance, strategic direction, and future growth plans.

Financial Performance and Operational Highlights

During Q1 FY27, the company recorded pre-sales of approximately ₹4,835 million, marking a 5% increase year-on-year. Collections also saw an uptick, reaching around ₹5,754 million, up from ₹4,993 million in the prior year’s corresponding quarter. The average selling price increased to approximately ₹14,200 per square foot, attributed to a growing diversification into the luxury segment. The company delivered close to 1 million square feet during the quarter. Revenue from operations stood at approximately ₹3,400 million, while EBITDA was slightly ahead of ₹1,000 million, and profit after tax was around ₹497 million.

Strategic Priorities and Future Outlook

The management outlined four key strategic priorities for the next two to three years: deepening presence in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), enhancing focus on luxury housing, pursuing capital-efficient growth through redevelopment and joint development models, and maintaining strong execution, collection, and balance sheet discipline. The company aims for a CAGR of close to 20% in pre-sales and anticipates EBITDA margins upwards of 25% on a blended average.

Debt Reduction and Balance Sheet Strengthening

The IPO proceeds were significantly utilized for debt repayment, bringing the debt-to-equity ratio down from approximately 3.1 times to around 1.5 times. External debt has reduced to approximately ₹1,900 crores. The company plans to further reduce debt, potentially through monetizing land parcels for data operators, aiming for a managed and healthy balance sheet. The focus will remain on mid-income and luxury segments where margins are healthier, alongside continued development in affordable housing, particularly in the Dombivli region.
