Network18 Reports Strong Q2 FY27 Performance
Network18 Media & Investments Limited today announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. The company reported a consolidated operating revenue of ₹545 crore, marking a robust 9.4% increase compared to the same quarter in the previous year. This growth was achieved despite a challenging industry environment where advertising inventory demand for the TV news sector declined by approximately 13% year-on-year.
Key Financial Highlights (Q2 FY27)
- Consolidated Operating Revenue: Increased by 9.4% YoY to ₹545 crore.
- Half-Year Consolidated Revenue (H1 FY27): Rose by approximately 10% to ₹1,061 crore.
- Consolidated Operating EBITDA: Showed a significant increase to ₹19 crore from ₹8 crore in the prior year’s quarter, with the margin improving to 3.4%.
Operational Performance and Growth Drivers
The company’s revenue growth during the quarter was primarily propelled by its content studio subsidiary, compensating for subdued advertising growth in other segments. Connected TV emerged as a strong growth area, exhibiting robust performance as an emerging revenue stream. Network18’s diversified business model and strong market positions have enabled it to maintain revenue momentum even amidst industry headwinds.
Digital Dominance and Subscriber Growth
Network18 continues to solidify its position as India’s number one digital news network, with a monthly reach of over 330 million users. The company also maintains a leading presence on YouTube, with approximately 2x video views compared to its nearest competitor. Its subscription-based financial intelligence platform, Moneycontrol Pro, continues to perform well, boasting over 1 million paid subscribers.
Television Industry Update
Viewership ratings data for the television industry, particularly for the news genre, remains suspended. This suspension, initiated in early March, has extended for over six months for news channels and over three months for other genres. Prior to this, Network18 was recognized as India’s leading TV news network with a significant viewership share.
Chairman’s Remarks

Our focus remained firmly on strengthening our core offerings, enhancing audience engagement, and driving execution across our businesses. We believe our strong portfolio, growing digital presence, and disciplined approach to growth position us well to capitalize on emerging opportunities and create long-term value for all stakeholders.”
