ACME Solar Secures Major PPA with NTPC

ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ACME Solar) announced today that its subsidiary, ACME Marigold Urja Private Limited, has entered into a significant Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NTPC Limited. This agreement is for a 400 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project.

Project Details and Tariff

The project falls under NTPC’s FDRE-01 tranche and will operate at a competitive tariff of INR 4.37 per unit. The tariff has been approved by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC). The project will be connected to the Raghanesda substation on the ISTS network, with the necessary connectivity grant already secured. ACME Solar has also acquired over 800 acres of land for this project and is on schedule for its planned commissioning.

Contribution to Renewable Energy Goals
