Adani Total Gas Releases Q2 FY27 Earnings Call Transcript

Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) has published the transcript of its Q2 FY ’27 Earnings Conference Call, which took place on October 23, 2026. This release provides investors and analysts with a comprehensive overview of the company’s financial and operational performance for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026.

Key Financial Highlights from Q2 FY27

During the call, it was highlighted that ATGL closed the second quarter of FY ’27 with robust operational performance. Key metrics include a 12% year-on-year volume growth, reaching 315 MMSCM, and a corresponding 12% increase in EBITDA to INR340 crores. For the half-year ended September 30, 2026, volumes grew by 13% to 618 MMSCM, with EBITDA rising 3% to INR621 crores. This performance was achieved despite a challenging global energy environment.

Growth Drivers and Network Expansion

The company emphasized that its growth is supported by deeper market penetration and disciplined network expansion. In Q2 FY ’27, CNG volumes saw a 17% year-on-year increase to 223 MMSCM, while PNG volumes grew by 3% to 92 MMSCM. ATGL added 16 new CNG stations, bringing its total network to 723 CNG stations. Additionally, the company connected 39,574 new household connections, expanding its PNG household connections to 11.81 lakhs, and grew its steel pipeline network to 16,305 inch-kilometers.

Momentum in industrial and commercial connections was also strong, with approximately 900 customers added in H1 FY ’27, taking the base to 10,864. This number is noted as approximately 1.4 times the additions made in the entire FY ’26.

Navigating Market Pressures

Sanjay Pandita, Chief Executive Officer, addressed the significant gas cost pressures experienced during Q2 FY ’27, with natural gas costs increasing by 43% year-on-year due to higher Brent and LNG prices, currency depreciation, and shifts in domestic gas availability. The company managed these pressures through portfolio diversification, agile sourcing, and calibrated pricing, resulting in the 12% EBITDA growth.

Clean Energy Initiatives and Future Outlook

The transcript also touched upon the company’s ongoing investments in clean energy businesses. The e-mobility segment has seen the installation of 5,513 EV charging points across 26 states and union territories, covering 225 cities with an installed capacity of 63 megawatts. Discussions also covered the Compressed Biogas (CBG) business, with plans for expansion and leveraging government initiatives like the GOBARdhan scheme.

Regarding future expansion, ATGL is targeting to add between 80 to 90 CNG stations in the current year and is looking at similar numbers for FY ’28, focusing on volume-driven and new virgin areas. Capex remains aggressively focused on expansion, with a continued emphasis on infrastructure development across all its geographical areas.
