Gateway Distriparks Revises Q2 FY27 Financial Results

Gateway Distriparks Limited (GDL), a prominent multimodal logistics company, has announced the revision of its Unaudited Financial Results for the quarter that concluded on September 30, 2026. This revision stems from a typographical error identified in the previously issued press release. The company is committed to providing accurate financial disclosures to its stakeholders.

Key Financial Highlights (Revised)

The revised results detail the company’s performance for the quarter. Total throughput saw a slight decrease of -2.98% year-on-year, reaching 1,91,749 TEUs compared to 1,97,642 TEUs in the previous year. For the half-year ended September 30, 2026, total throughput decreased by -2.49% to 3,75,616 TEUs.

In terms of financial particulars, Total Revenue for Q2 FY27 stood at ₹585.6 crore, an increase of 2.66% over Q2 FY26’s ₹570.4 crore. EBITDA grew by 6.55% to ₹131.5 crore, and Profit Before Tax (PBT) increased by 15.07% to ₹79.0 crore. However, Profit After Tax (PAT) experienced a decline of -11.72%, falling to ₹58.5 crore from ₹66.3 crore in the prior year’s comparable quarter. This was attributed to the company transitioning to a new tax regime effective April 01, 2026, opting for a concessional tax rate under Section 115BAA, which impacts the effective tax rate.

Operational Performance and Outlook

Prem Kishan Dass Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, commented on the container business witnessing a strong recovery, with revenue growing by 12%, EBITDA by 15.3%, and PAT by 23% compared to Q1. Despite geopolitical uncertainties and a subdued macroeconomic environment, the company performed encouragingly, overcoming challenges such as container imbalances and erratic vessel schedules.

Gupta expressed optimism about medium-term growth prospects, citing the commencement of EXIM operations at Ankleshwar, progress on the Indore ICD, and anticipated benefits from India’s recent trade agreements. Additionally, Snowman Logistics, an associate company, is on track to expand its network and reach a capacity of 175,000 pallets by mid-2027.

The revised press release is also available on the company’s official website, www.gatewaydistriparks.com.
