Nestlé India Volume-Led Double-Digit Growth in Q2 2025

Nestlé India announced a strong Q2 2025 performance, driven by volume-led, double-digit sales growth. Domestic sales reached a record INR 5,411 crore. Three out of four product groups delivered robust volume-led growth. Amendments to GST rates are expected to further boost consumption. The company remains focused on delivering high-quality products and investing in brand and manufacturing capacity. Earnings Per Share (EPS) stood at INR 3.90.

Q2 2025 Financial Performance

Nestlé India reported double-digit domestic sales growth, primarily driven by volume, achieving its highest ever quarterly sales of INR 5,411 crore in Q2 2025. Three of the company’s four product groups contributed significantly to this growth.

Key highlights from the announcement include:

  • Total Sales of INR 5630.2 crore.
  • Total Sales Growth at 10.9%, with Domestic Sales Growth at 10.8%.
  • EBITDA at 22.0% of Sales.
  • Profit After Tax of INR 753.2 crore.
  • Earnings Per Share (EPS) of INR 3.90.

Product Group Highlights

The Confectionery product group experienced robust growth, with KITKAT being a primary driver. India is now the second largest KITKAT market globally.

The Powdered and Liquid Beverages group also demonstrated strong double-digit growth, led by NESCAFÉ.

The Prepared Dishes and Cooking Aids group saw double-digit value growth, supported by strong volume growth in MAGGI Noodles.

The Pet Food business achieved its highest turnover since integration into Nestlé India.

Strategic Focus

Nestlé India remains committed to an omni-channel approach and is focused on strengthening its e-commerce presence. The company is also investing in manufacturing capacity, including a new MAGGI Noodles production line at the Sanand Factory in Gujarat.
