NTPC’s subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), has commissioned a part capacity of 12.5 MW solar project located in Bhuj, Gujarat, effective October 17, 2025. This addition increases the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC group to 83,906 MW, and NGEL Group to 7419.975 MW.

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC, has announced the commissioning of a part capacity from its solar project in Bhuj, Gujarat.
Project Details
The commissioned capacity is 12.5 MW (Solar), part of a larger 37.5 MW (Solar) project. The project is owned by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private. This development took effect on October 17, 2025.
Capacity Impact
Following this commissioning, the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC group will be 83,906 MW. The commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group now stands at 7407.475 MW and will increase to 7419.975 MW with the addition of this capacity.
