Shri Sridhar’s Profile and Experience
Shri Sridhar brings a wealth of experience to his new role, with over 36 years of diversified expertise spanning manufacturing operations, commercial activities, project execution, industrial relations, and human resource management. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Executive Director (Human Resources) at BHEL’s Corporate Office, where he was instrumental in heading the Corporate Human Resource function and driving key HR policies and strategic people initiatives.
Academically, Shri Sridhar is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from CBIT, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He further holds an M. Tech in CAD/CAM from JNTU, Hyderabad, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from XLRI, Jamshedpur. His extensive career has seen him hold several key leadership positions at BHEL’s Hyderabad unit and Corporate Office, leading diverse functions including manufacturing operations, contracts management, commercial and marketing, planning, and industrial relations.
At the Corporate Office level, Shri Sridhar has played a pivotal role in formulating and implementing HR policies, strengthening performance management systems, and driving strategic human resource initiatives aligned with BHEL’s organizational objectives. His comprehensive experience across manufacturing, commercial, and HR domains is expected to significantly contribute to BHEL’s growth and transformation agenda.
