The company demonstrated robust operational and financial performance, driven by capacity expansion and strong operating efficiency across its renewable sites.
Q2 FY27 Financial Highlights
In the second quarter of FY27, AGEL reported a significant 45% year-on-year growth in Revenue from Power Supply, reaching ₹4,019 crore. The company’s EBITDA from Power Supply saw a substantial increase of 51% YoY, amounting to ₹3,835 crore. The EBITDA margin remained strong at 92.0%.
H1 FY27 Financial Performance
For the half year ended September 30, 2026, AGEL’s Revenue from Power Supply grew by 36% YoY to ₹8,299 crore. EBITDA from Power Supply increased by 41% YoY to ₹7,957 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 92.9%. Cash Profit for the half year rose by 35% YoY to ₹4,176 crore.
Operational Achievements
AGEL’s operational capacity expanded by 24% YoY to 20.8 GW as of September 30, 2026. This growth was supported by the addition of 4,083 MW of greenfield capacity. The company also achieved a significant milestone in energy storage, with its operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity reaching 6.63 GWh, making it India’s largest BESS operator.
Standalone Financial Results
The unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026, show a Profit after Tax of ₹475 crore for the quarter, compared to ₹331 crore in the previous year. For the half year, the standalone Profit after Tax was ₹279 crore.
