Waaree Renewable Technologies Reports Strong Q2 FY27 Performance

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026. The company demonstrated robust growth, with revenue from operations for the second quarter of FY27 standing at ₹1,057.84 crores, marking a significant 36.53% increase year-on-year.

H1 FY27 Financial Highlights

For the first half of FY27, WRTL’s revenue from operations reached ₹1,982.09 crores, representing a substantial 43.84% growth compared to the corresponding period in the previous year. The company’s EBITDA also saw a positive trajectory, increasing by 1.29% YoY to ₹159.98 crores in Q2 FY27 and growing 21.04% YoY to ₹333.46 crores in H1 FY27.

Profitability and Order Book Strength

While Profit After Tax (PAT) for Q2 FY27 stood at ₹81.48 crores, a decrease of 29.98% YoY, the company attributed this to acquisition-related financing costs and integration of businesses with different margin profiles. However, the company maintains a strong future outlook with an unexecuted order book of over ₹5,500 crores. The bidding pipeline remains robust for solar, BESS, and T&D projects.

Strategic Expansion and Future Outlook

WRTL is actively expanding its capabilities across the renewable energy value chain and the transmission and distribution (T&D) space, further strengthened by the acquisition of Associated Power Structures Pvt. Ltd. (APSPL). The company is also pursuing opportunities in Battery Energy Storage Systems and Data Centres. Management remains focused on creating long-term value through scale, diversification, and operational efficiencies, supported by favorable government policies and a strong order pipeline.
