TCS BaNCS for Treasury Marks Entry into Sri Lanka

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has officially announced the expansion of its long-standing partnership with Indian Bank. The company has successfully deployed its integrated treasury platform, TCS BaNCS for Treasury, at the Indian Bank’s Colombo branch in Sri Lanka. This deployment marks a significant milestone, signifying the platform’s entry into the Sri Lankan market.

Enhancing Treasury Operations

The integrated treasury platform is designed to help Indian Bank’s Colombo branch strengthen its real-time risk visibility, improve straight-through processing, and establish a robust, scalable foundation for future growth. Following successful deployments across Indian Bank’s operations in India and at GIFT City, the platform now extends to its overseas operations, reinforcing a unified approach to treasury management across geographies.

Modernizing Overseas Operations

TCS will support Indian Bank in modernizing its overseas treasury operations, covering areas such as money markets, investment management, and foreign exchange. The transformation aims to enable Indian Bank’s Colombo branch to operate on a single, integrated treasury platform. This will facilitate unified deal processing, real-time position visibility, enhanced risk and limit controls, and compliance-ready reporting, ultimately reducing manual intervention and improving operational efficiency.
