The company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) witnessed a substantial increase of 124%, reaching ₹232.67 crore, a notable improvement from ₹104.08 crore recorded in the previous financial year (2024-25).
Key Drivers of Growth
This impressive achievement is attributed to several factors, including a higher profit from traded goods, improved subsidy collection from past periods, and a reduction in marketing and other miscellaneous expenses. The company’s total revenue also saw a healthy increase, rising to ₹21,230.67 crore in FY 2025-26, up from ₹19,532.86 crore in the prior year.
Sales Performance
Overall fertilizer sales demonstrated strong growth, fueled by increased consumption and demand. NFL maintained its upward momentum, delivering a strong operational performance that further boosted profitability. The company registered total fertilizer sales of 65.20 LMT, comprising own urea, imported urea, RFCL urea, and non-urea fertilizers. This represents a marginal increase over the previous year’s sales of 63.37 LMT.
