Ceigall India Limited has successfully commissioned an additional 5 MW of solar power capacity, bringing its total operational capacity at the Ranjangaon Deshmukh site in Maharashtra to 10 MW. This milestone was achieved by its wholly owned subsidiary, Ceigall Green Energy MH2 Limited, and marks a significant step in the company’s renewable energy expansion.
Project Details and Scheme
The newly commissioned 5 MW capacity is part of a larger 147 MW solar power project being developed under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0), a scheme by the Government of Maharashtra aimed at enhancing daytime solar power supply to agricultural feeders. The commissioned capacity is connected to the 33/11 kV Ranjangaon substation and will supply power to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL).
